RAMADI (January 29, 2005) - In a late breaking news broadcast early this morning, CBS News reported that Senator Edward Kennedy "is at this moment" in an undisclosed location near Fallujah, as the "honored guest" of the terrorist leader Zarqawi. Mr. Dan Rather of CBS News, currently on election assignment in Iraq, announced that he has obtained a videotape, showing "Zarqawi and Senator Kennedy in an unidentified underground command room with several armed terrorists standing around."
The videotape also showed a scene where Mr.Zarqawi made a statement, welcoming Senator Kennedy to Iraq as the "only true American friend and supporter of our war against the Iraqi infidels." Mr. Zarqawi again emphasized that the main mission of his terror organization was "a fierce war on this evil principle of democracy and those who follow this wrong ideology."
Mr. Zarqawi also applauded Senator Kenney for his recent speech at the John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies on January 27, where the senator vehemently denounced the war in Iraq as a "catastrophic failure" and forcefully demanded the withdrawal of American troops. Mr. Zarqawi took only only one exception to the senator's speech, where Mr. Kennedy claimed that "our military and the insurgents are fighting for the same thing - the hearts and mind of the people." He clarified that the insurgents "are definitely not fighting for the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people, we just want to kill Iraqis who desire the evil democracy, period." Mr. Zarqawi also added "as a matter of fact, we just fight for dead bodies of Iraqi infidels."
Mr. Dan Rather announced that CBS News has authenticated this videotape and will broadcast the whole tape in a special "60 Minutes" on Saturday evening.
