Howard Dean accepts DoD job to work for Rumsfeld

Washington DC (October 27, 2005) – In a sensational development, the New York Times reported today that Howard Dean, the Democratic National Chairman, has accepted a newly created position at the Department of Defense, reporting directly to Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld, effective immediately. With the American casualties reaching the mark of 2000 deaths early this week, and still more to come, Mr. Dean will fit nicely in his new position as the "Official Military Corpse Counter" for the Pentagon. As part of the anti-war Left, Mr. Dean “couldn’t wait for the death of more American soldiers in Iraq.” The new job would “satisfy me more than trying to develop a constructive policy platform for the Democratic Party,” Mr. Dean said. In the new position, Mr. Dean will assume the rank of a four-star general and take over the newly created COCOCOM (Corpse Counter Command), headquartered at the Dover Air Base, Delaware.
