Paris (November 10, 2005) – Taking a page from the “Blame Cheney First!” playbook that Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) distributed early this week, French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin accused US Vice President Dick Cheney of effectively causing the current riots in France. The “illegal war” in Iraq that Cheney instigated in 2003 by “manipulating pre-war intelligence,” has turned “the otherwise peaceful French Muslims” into the “scum of the French society,” Mr. de Villepin said in a speech at the National Assembly. However in the spirit of trans-Atlantic friendship, France “is ready to forgive,” provided that Cheney will ship to Paris within a week 10,000 Cadillac deVille to replace the cars burned in the last 13 days, of course “gratuitement” free of charge.
