APA consortium submits bid for the Gorelick wall reconstruction project

Washington DC (December 20, 2005) – As expected the APA consortium has submitted a serious bid to rebuild the Gorelick wall in the nation’s capital. The original Gorelick wall was a landmark mega-structure, which was constructed across the city of Washington DC in 1995 by the Clinton administration with the sole objective to block operational interactions among federal law enforcement and intelligence gathering agencies. It was destroyed in 2001 as instructed by a 98:1 Senate decision. At a press conference this morning, Mr. Harry Reid, Chairman of the APA (Anti-Patriot-Act) consortium, announced that with the support of a new investor group, led by Craig, Hagel, Murkowski and Sununu, his consortium would likely be awarded this prestigious reconstruction project in the near future. Mr. Reid declined to comment on Wall Street report that the reconstruction cost for the new Gorelick wall would be much higher than that of the original structure. According to GAO, the cost of the original Gorelick wall was 3000 dead Americans.
