Dan Rather interviews Osama bin Laden live this Sunday

FALLUJAH (October 29, 2004) - CBS News just announced that Mary Mapes, the top news producer at this American TV network, has secured an exclusive live interview with Osama bin Laden, the supreme leader of the Al-Qaida terrorist group. Dan Rather, who broke the scoop on President Bush's computerized National Guard documents in August, will conduct the interview face-to-face. This will be broadcasted live starting at 6:00 PM EST on Sunday, October 31, only 36 hours before the historic presidential election in the United States.
According to CBS News, the interview will take place in an undisclosed location in Fallujah. Mrs. Mapes was contacted by an Al-Qaida emissary late Friday afternoon near Abilene, Texas, and told that Mr. Osama bin Laden would like to follow up his videotaped message on Al-Jazeera TV today with a comprehensive interview on an American TV network. Sources close to Mr. Rather indicated that Mr. Osam bin Laden is on an inspection tour of his terrorist army in Western Iraq and will be in the Fallujah region this week-end.
CBS News has sold the live broadcast right to an international broadcasting consortium for a sensational sum of 270 millions dollars. Five 15-second commercial breaks were planned during this interview and they are already sold out at 30 millions dollars a piece. According to unconfirmed reports, Mr. Soros of "moveon.org" bought two slots, the remaining three slots were purchased by Swiftboat Veterans for Truth, Microsoft and Amnesty International. The Kerry campaign is in serious negotiation with Microsoft to take over its slot for 45 millions dollars.
