Berger sells his National Archives pants on eBay

Washington DC (September 9, 2005) - Former Clinton National Security Adviser has offered his "pants" on eBay today, in order to pay the $ 50,000 fine for stealing secret documents from the National Archives. Mr. Berger insisted that the "pants" were still in the original, unwashed state when he used it to hide the secret documents. The "pants" were a pair of beige-colored, 100% cotton Dockers special pants, with two secret pockets that could hold up to 15 letter-size pages. Mr. Berger said, the "pants" still contained one sheet of paper that he forgot to remove. He declined to comment whether it was the mysteriously missing "Able Danger" chart. "It is up to the new owner" to disclose the nature of this sheet, Mr. Berger said. The current bid is at $ 59.99 offered by Al-Jazeera.
