Mubarak names Al Gore election czar for Egypt

Cairo (September 7, 2005) - In an effort to deflect accusations of election fraud, Egyptian President Mubarak today named former US Vice President Al Gore as the nation's Election Czar. Mr. Gore's services are unpaid, but he will have the official title "Supreme Pharaon of the Nile Kingdom for Election Affairs". He will have a small official office on the fourth floor of the Chephren pyramid in Giza with unlimited room services.
